Avey/Grouws Band to Headline Bandshell July 3
New to the Star Spangled Spectacular, the blues, rock and Americana Avey/Grouws Band will be headlining the July 3 Sunset Park Bandshell concerts. They are the winner of the 2017 Iowa Blues Challenge and semifinalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Forming in January of 2017, the Avey/Grouws Band has started a buzz with memorable performances at The Prairie Dog Blues Fest, The Mississippi Valley Blues Fest, Smokin' In Steele BBQ & Blues, and by winning the 2017 Iowa Blues Challenge and advancing to the Semi Finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Come hear Avey/Grouws Wednesday, July 3 from 8-11 p.m. at the Sunset Park Bandshell. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. There will be food vendors so you can support local non-profit agencies and also enjoy food and beverages with the great music.
All Star Spangled Spectacular entertainment is family friendly and free of charge for the Spectacular. Entertainment is funded through private donations.
